Prints and Books

I deconstruct some of my paintings into layers of colour which I screen print. Sometimes the number of colours relates to the age of the sitter. I create artists books revealing the separate layers, showing the process. They are bound using Japanese stab hole binding. I have titled the books after the sitter and a GSA student from the archives who shares a connection in name or address. I want to remember these students who have perhaps been neglected and also my peers. People not usually recognized. My own archive.
